The computer lab is a 12 m² (130 ft²) room in the back of my home. This is where I spend the majority of my time working at one of the workstations on my projects. The computer lab is home to two network racks, and six workstations.

Network racks

The Bradda: 8U network rack houses my production network equipment, and the Jiass: 16U network rack is where I can experiment, learn, and develop skills in networking, and explore various network topology in a controlled environment.

Workstations

There are six workstations in the computer lab that focus on different fields of interest within IT: System administration, Network administration, Cybersecurity, Development, DevOps, and AIOps.

These workstations also give me the opportunity to learn better ways to automate system administration tasks so I can maintain them all on a daily basis.
