The Balley-sallagh: production server is located at a local hosting company in the south of the island. This is my primary production mail server, web and ftp servers, and dns server, running on an unmanaged SSD VPS 8.

Hardware

  • 8vCPU AMD EPYC GENOA 9354 - 3.25GHz/3.75GHzs
  • 8GB DDR5 ECC 4800MHz
  • 160GB SSD NVMe Soft RAID
  • 100 Mbit Network Port

Software

The server is running AlmaLinux 9.7 with Plesk Obsidian (Web Pro Edition), a web hosting and data center automation software.

IP addresses

I have twenty IPv4 and IPv6 addresseses for various projects.

Backup strategy

The server has an off-site weekly full backup, and a daily incremental backup strategy.
